Gotanica Shipping and Return Policy

Every live plant shipment comes with our Live Arrival Guarantee, subject to certain conditions as listed below.

Please be aware, we are not liable for weather related shipping damages. We pride ourselves in shipping high quality live plants and do our very best to ensure your new plants arrive to you safe and secure. By purchasing live plants to be shipped to you, you are agreeing that there is an inherent risk (plants arriving damaged due to fluctuating temperatures, leaves yellowing from stress, stems breaking, etc) involved in this process.

If your live plant order arrives at your location with any unexpected issues such as a plant in poor condition or is dead due to extreme conditions or delays in shipping, please contact us within 24 hours. In most cases, we will have another similar plant of the same species immediately available. If not, a refund will be provided. We check the weather for the coming week prior to shipping and reserve the right to ship when it is safe for shipping plants. We will contact you if there is any expected delay in shipping your order.

Conditions to be met to apply our Live Arrival Guarantee: 

1. First Delivery Attempt - The shipment must be received on the first delivery attempt, or be picked up the day of the first delivery attempt. If you miss the delivery and the package is delayed a day or more because of it, we cannot accept responsibility for any losses. It is your responsibility to check the tracking number for delivery.

2. Provide Clear Photos or Unboxing Video Provided within 24 hours of delivery in the case of damage - The unboxing photos or video are REQUIRED if there is a missing item(s).

3. Correct Address - You must have provided the correct delivery address. Forwarding to another address, or shipping to P.O boxes is not acceptable.

Also, if you make multiple plant purchases before we have shipped any of them, and you would like to save on shipping please contact us within 24 hrs. We happily combine shipping! 

Handling time before dispatching the order

We strive to process your order within 3-5 days. We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays to minimize time spent in transit. 

Shipping service

Plant orders are shipped via FedEx and should arrive to you within 3 to 4 business days. 

Shipping during Extreme Weather

We ship with an eye to the weather and use the best packaging material in accordance with the plants selected and potential exposure to extreme temperatures in your area. Under certain weather conditions, we will delay shipment. For example, we won’t ship when the expected temperature of your location is over 95 °F.
