'Seafoam' Seahorse Skeleton
Wunderkammer - room of wonder - a place where a collection of curiosities is exhibited. In a hushed and mysterious chamber, the frail remains of spectral forms adorn shelves, curio cabinets, and belljars. From their delicate bones, stories and mysteries whisper forth like verses from a dusty book in a lost language.
Inspired by the perfectly posed bones and treasures displayed in natural history museums, these intricate remains are so true to real skeletons that it's hard to believe they are made of paper.
Moth and Myth presents the 'Seafoam' Seahorse Skeleton from their new Wunderkammer Relics Collection.
This set features:
- Great seahorse (Hippocampus kelloggi) 6.25" paper
- Short-snouted seahorse (Hippocampus hippocampus) 4.5" paper
- Juvenile Short-snouted seahorse (Hippocampus hippocampus) 2.5" paper
These paper skeletons are printed double-sided on heavy-weight shimmer paper, which gives them the appearance of mother-of-pearl. They are expertly lasercut with a precise level of detail. They are based on real specimens, and accurately depict their size and color, or in this case, lack-there-of. Specimens in the Wunderkammer Relics series come on a beautiful 5.5" x 8.5" backing, perfect for safe keeping or as a lovely gift! Resin safe.
About Moth and Myth:
Each of our designs features a unique digital-painting based on a real moth or butterfly. They are printed double-sided on heavyweight cotton paper, and then expertly lasercut with a precise level of detail (you can see the individual little antennae, just like on a real moth). Cruelty-free and vegan, they're more durable than actual moths or butterflies so you can use them in any creative project of your choice!
